Taylor & Hammel LLC :: Toxic Tort Research
Taylor & Hammel LLC's staff regularly researches the historic operations of petrol
companies, utilities, refineries, pesticide and chemical manufacturers, government
contractors, nuclear material suppliers, and federal and military facilities involved
in various toxic tort proceedings, including product liability.  In addition to
completing research for toxic tort matters emanating from personal injury issues,
our staff has experience in researching theories for trespass and nuisance claims.
As a result, we have dealt in all types of toxic tort and environmental litigation
research involving trichloroethylene (TCE), carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated
solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs),
perchlorates, hydrazine, metyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), lead, beryllium,
chromium, benzene, mercury, dioxin, radioactive materials, phenols,
dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT) and other pesticides.
Taylor & Hammel LLC's research
experience with toxic tort matters ranges
in scope from small individual asbestos
cases to mass tort litigation, including high
profile cases where residents of an entire
community have filed suit.  Our staff has
handled researching issues arising under
federal and state environmental laws, such
as civil enforcement matters, CERCLA
litigation and prominent administrative
proceedings.  We work closely with our
clients to implement a research strategy
that is efficient and cost-effective.
